  • Belgium:  Dommelhof Puppet Festival, Theatre Toone in Brussels, and the Vlaams Theatre Circuit tour.
  • France:  The Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris, the Spanish Embassy in Paris, a tour of cultural centres and street festivals in the Banlieu de Paris, Le Festival Mondial des Theatres de Marionnettes à Charleville-Mezières, and a street festival in Bordeaux.
  • Germany:  The Deutsches Institut fur Puppenspiel Festival in Bochum.
  • Holland:  The Melkweg Club, Amsterdam.
  • Indonesia:  Research in Java and Bali, assisted by the Canada Council for the Arts.
  • Iran:  Twice to the International Puppetry Festival of Tehran, once in 1976 and again in 2004. And with the first time, an amazing tour of smaller towns.
  • RoumaniaTurkey, and The USSR:  Research trip sponsored by the Marguerite Bagshawe Library Collection.
  • The U.K:  The Edinburgh Festival Fringe; ASSITEJ International Theatre Festival for Young People tour throughout Wales; the Puppet Centre Trust in London.
  • The USSR:  U.S. based Arts for Peace project in Moscow and Yaroslavl.
