[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1507108298107{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Three Sundays – November 5, 12 & 19, 2017 – 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

To get a sense of how important gravity and leverage are to marionettes, the participants will start by making simple cloth marionettes, and learn to manipulate them. Then we will move on to the construction of more complex puppets, with working joints and functioning controls.

As this is a three day intermediate level workshop we will explore effective ways to make marionettes that really do work well.

We will not delve deeply into wood carving, nor spend lots of time on faces and costumes – though these important aspects of character creation will be discussed and methods demonstrated.

FEE:  $225 for the three days.  Cheques made out to The Toronto School of Puppetry can be mailed to 3 Jersey Avenue, Toronto, ON. M6G 3A2
